SINOPSE
Trinta anos antes de "O Crepúsculo dos Elfos", o
mundo mergulha inexoravelmente na guerra. Lliane, princesa herdeira dos elfos
de Eliande, é mantida prisioneira nas Terras Negras. Horrorizada pela
selvajaria e crueldade dos seus habitantes, ela tem de lutar pela sobrevivências
mas, a pouco e pouco, ela descobre que os orcs, os gobelins e outros monstros
ao serviço d’Aquele-que-não-pode-ser-nomeado estão mais próximos dela do que

Terminei
a leitura deste livro a 4 de novembro de 2012. Dou-lhe quatro estrelas.
Esta
vai ser uma opinião curta, na medida em que não difere em muito da que escrevi
em relação ao primeiro volume.
Gostei
da história no geral. O estilo de escrita de Jean-Louis Fetjaine agrada-me – é direto
e conciso. A narrativa que foca-se no mais importante, não há cenas que não têm
qualquer importância para o desfecho final – tudo tem um propósito e um papel a
desempenhar.
Novamente
destaco o “bom português”, embora tenha uma coisa a apontar: li “serrou” e “serrar”
quando devia ser “cerrou (os maxilares)” e “cerrar (os punhos)”. Uma vez passa,
à segunda o bichinho rói, lol! Pronto, acontece…
Quanto
às personagens, a evolução de Lliane e Maheolas está a ser particularmente
interessante. Estou ansiosa por saber o que lhes acontece. Já Landon parece-me
um pouco deslocado na sua busca pela princesa. Os alegados sentimentos que
despontaram de uma hora para a outra não são convincentes. Estou curiosa quanto
ao papel que lhe caberá na história.
Vou
tentar continuar a acompanhar esta série, que se lê depressa e facilmente, pois
não é aborrecida e tem sempre algo de novo e inesperado a suceder.

I finished reading
this book on November 4, 2012. I rate it four stars.
This will be a
short review, since it doesn’t differ much from what I’ve written about the
first volume.
I liked the story
in general. The writing style of Jean-Louis Fetjaine pleases me - is direct and
concise. The narrative focuses on the most important things, there are no
scenes that have no relevance to the final outcome - everything has a purpose
and a role to play.
Again I emphasize
the "good Portuguese", although I have two mistakes to point out (the
translator used “s” instead of “c” in two words). It happens...
As for the
characters, the evolution of Lliane and Maheolas is particularly interesting. I’m
eager to know what happens to them. As for Landon, he seems a little off in his
quest for the princess. The alleged feelings that emerged from one moment to
the other are not convincing. I'm curious about the role he’ll play in the
story.
I'll try to
continue to follow this series, that is quick and easy to read, since it is not
boring and always has something new and unexpected happening.
