OLÁ! QUANDO NASCEU O TEU BLOGUE?

Olá! Depois de uma visita rápida ao histórico, vejo que o meu blogue nasceu a 8 de Maio deste ano. Ainda é novinho.

QUE RAZÕES TE LEVARAM A CRIÁ-LO?

Há mais de dois anos que colaboro com um outro blogue, o Bela Lugosi is Dead. É um espaço dedicado ao fantástico e terror onde contribuo com críticas a livros do género. Depois de algum tempo a ter essa experiência, pus-me a pensar que seria interessante lançar-me nesta aventura dos blogues sozinha. Depois de muitos meses a pensar no que queria construir com ele, lá delineei o meu objetivo e escrevi o primeiro post. Queria apresentar uma abordagem mais pessoal, falar um pouco sobre tudo o que leio e apresentar posts com temas que acho curiosos, sempre dentro da temática dos livros.

O QUE PODEM OS VISITANTES ENCONTRAR NO BLOGUE?

O blogue está a ser construído muito à base de opiniões literárias, onde é meu objetivo expressar, com sinceridade e de forma clara, o que achei de cada livro. Tem também divulgação, alguns passatempos e uma rubrica chamada "Comprar o livro pela capa" onde apresento as diversas capas que determinados livros já tiveram no mercado português. Como sou uma pessoa curiosa relativamente ao mundo literário, gosto de fazer algumas pesquisas, sendo quem, muitas vezes, elabora posts alusivos ao tema (o último foi sobre a lista dos 10 livros mais polémicos de sempre).

QUE BALANÇO FAZES DESDE QUE CRIASTE ESTE ESPAÇO ATÉ HOJE?

Sinceramente, estou muito surpreendida. Quando criei o blogue decidi que não o ia divulgar entre os meus conhecidos. Pensei "vou começar e depois logo se vê". E não é que tive visitas desde o primeiro instante? E esse valor não para de aumentar! Fico sempre impressionada quando recebo mensagens ou e-mails com feedbacks dos leitores. Sinto que, aos poucos, estou a conquistar o meu espaço, e isso é muito gratificante. O balanço é, sem dúvida, muito positivo.

QUAIS AS MAIORES DIFICULDADES QUE ENCONTRASTE ENQUANTO BLOGGER?

Penso que as maiores dificuldades prendem-se com o tempo para escrever. Quando criei o blogue quis que este fosse um espaço atualizado, mas nem sempre é fácil ligar o computador e dispor de tempo para escrever um texto coerente. É preciso gostar mesmo do projeto para o fazer e, felizmente, eu sinto-me empenhada desde o dia do primeiro post. Espero que esta energia dure por muito mais tempo. 
Uma outra dificuldade prende-se com facto de já existirem muitos blogues sobre a mesma temática. Digo isto não por achar que são demais, mas porque marcar a diferença se torna mais difícil. Penso que a forma de superar isto está na elaboração de textos que expressem bem a nossa identidade.

QUAL A MAIOR ALEGRIA QUE O TEU BLOGUE TE DEU?

O contacto com outros bloggers, ver nas estatísticas que as visitas crescem de dia para dia e receber mensagens de pessoas que nunca vi, mas que dizem que gostam do meu trabalho. É extremamente gratificante e nunca pensei atingir isto tão cedo. Fico muito grata a todos os que passam pelo meu espaço. É graças a todos os visitantes que me sinto cada vez mais motivada a falar (e por vezes até conversar) sobre livros.

HI! WHEN WAS YOUR BLOG BORN?

Hello! After a quick visit to the historic, I noticed that my blog was born on 8^th May this year. It's still new.

WHAT REASONS LED YOU TO CREATE IT?

For over two years I’m collaborating with another blog, called Bela Lugosi is Dead. It is a space dedicated to the fantastic and horror, to which I contributed with reviews of books of these genres. After some time having this experience, I started to think it would be interesting to cast myself in this adventure of blogging alone. After many months thinking about what I wanted to build, I outlined my goal and I wrote the first post. I wanted to present a more personal approach, talk a little about everything I read and submit posts with topics that I think curious, always within the theme of the books.

WHAT CAN VISITORS FIND IN YOUR BLOG?

The blog is being built based on very literary opinions, which is my aim – to express with sincerity what I thought of each book. It has also divulgation, some giveaways, and a section called "Buy the book by its cover" where I present the various covers that certain books have had on the Portuguese market. As I am a curious person in relation to the literary world, I like to do some research, and I’m who often prepares posts depicting the theme (the last was the list of the 10 most controversial books ever).

HOW DID THINGS GO SINCE YOU CREATED THIS SPACE UNTIL TODAY?

I'm honestly very surprised. When I created the blog, I decided I was not going to disclose it among my acquaintances. I thought "I'll start and then we'll see." Can you believe that I had visits from the first moment? And it’s still rising! I am always impressed when I receive messages or emails with feedback from readers. I feel that slowly I am gaining my space, and that is very rewarding. The balance is certainly very positive.

WHAT WERE THE BIGGEST DIFFICULTIES YOU FOUND AS A BLOGGER?

I think the biggest difficulty is the time to write. When I created the blog, I wanted a space that was updated, but it’s not easy to turn on the computer and have time to write a coherent text. You must really like the project, and thankfully I feel committed since the day of the first post. I hope that this energy will long last. Another difficulty is related to the fact that there are already many blogs on the same topic. I say this not because I think they are too many, but because making the difference becomes more difficult. I think the way to overcome this is to elaborate texts that express well our identity.

WHAT’S THE GREATEST JOY YOUR BLOG HAS GIVEN YOU?

To contact with other bloggers, to see the statistics of visits growing by the day, and to receive messages from people I've never met but who say they like my work. It is extremely gratifying and I never thought to achieve it this soon. I’m very grateful to all who pass by my space. Thanks to all visitors who feel increasingly motivated to talk (and sometimes even talk) about books.
