Acabei
de ler este livro a 10 de agosto; dou-lhe três estrelas.
De
toda a saga, o segundo volume é, sem sombra de dúvida, o melhor. Não gostei
muito deste, pois a autora passou imenso tempo a empatar e não acontecia nada
de interessante, para além da Annah a meter-se em sarilhos com os Recrutadores
que não a deixavam em paz.
A
definição dos pares amorosos também me chateou um bocado: é como se as gémeas
tivessem trocado de amores para ficarem com que lhe assentava melhor. Foi uma
pouco previsível o que aconteceu entre Annah e o Catcher; gostava que as coisas
tivessem seguido outro rumo.
Por
último, o final em aberto também deixou algo a desejar. Gostava de saber se
conseguiram realizar a viagem de barco, se Vista sempre se mantinha em pé e se
a conseguiam alcançar e como refizeram a vida. Quase que era preciso um quarto
livro e seria bem vindo se resolvesse estas questões.

I finished reading this book on August 10th and I rate it three stars.
From the whole saga, the second volume is, without a doubt, the best one. I didn’t like this much, because the author spent a lot of time stalling and nothing interesting happened, apart from Annah getting herself in trouble with the Recruiters, who didn’t leave her alone.

The definition of the loving
couples also upset me a bit: it was as if the
twins had swapped lovers to be with whom
better suited them. It was a bit predictable what happened between Annah and Catcher; I wished
things had taken a different course.
Finally, the open ending didn’t please me. I wonder if they made the trip by boat, if Vista remained standing, if they were able to achieve it and how they redid life. It was almost needed a fourth book and it would be welcome so these issues could be solved.
